Veteran’s Day Weekend at Arlington National Cemetery

Gorgeous morning view from the Arlington House.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

It is a very sobering experience walking through Arlington National Cemetery, especially on Veteran’s Day weekend.  The experience is a great reminder of all those who sacrificed to ensure equality, freedom, and peace around the world.  Whether you agreed with the basis for a particular war or not, you cannot deny the bravery, courage, and patriotism of those buried in this cemetery.  They sacrificed for all of us, and many gave their lives so we could enjoy ours.
